The Properties tab shows settings available for the selected form field. All form fields have a large number of properties which can be configured to generate a PDF form exhibiting the desired behavior. Understanding how to access these properties, what they mean, and how to use them, will make the difference in the quality of your PDF form.

Properties are categorized on the Properties tab. The title of these groups appears in a separator bar at the top of each sub-panel. Double-click on the title to expand or contract that panel.
